Construction Administrative Assistant
Temp to Hire
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
· Process and maintain employee time sheets
· Track and manage incoming and outgoing inventory for equipment, materials, and supplies
· Pull permits and coordinate with local municipalities and agencies
· Schedule forklifts, equipment rentals, and deliveries for job sites/Create & Issue PO’s
· Maintain master project files
· Coordinate communication between field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and office staff
· Assist with the Project Management maintenance
· Assist project managers with administrative support and project coordination
Qualifications:
· Previous administrative experience in construction or a related industry preferred
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Knowledge of construction terminology and permitting processes
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with inventory tracking and equipment scheduling preferred
Preferred Skills:
· Experience coordinating equipment logistics and vendor communication
· Understanding of OSHA and construction compliance documentation
Work Environment:
· Office and construction site support environment
· Full-time position with occasional overtime depending on project needs
